Where I Stand...

Today was somewhat nice, I guess. but first;

Tuesday, 13 Feburary 2007
Shalom!...

Started off with PE first. Today was 4 laps, and Ting Wei wanted to dash for now, so I followed him. He came in second after Arjun, then me third and so on and so forth. We then did warm-down stretching and sit-ups. Good thing is that I'm likely to pass well for sit-ups. Bad thing's that now 1) Many people are still talking about their 'death' and 2) More and more people are elaborating more and more about my aspergours condition.

For 1), all I can say is STOP THINKING ABOUT DEATH ALREADY!!! GOD GAVE YOU A LIFE TO LIVE, NOT DIE!!! SO JUST BE THANKFUL FOR WHATEVER GOD GIVES YOU, AND DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT ANY BETRAYAL FROM YOUR FRIENDS!!!

And for 2), I'd appreciate it if you all kept this to a minimum. It was because of this same scenario that an entire class and its teachers instantaneously fell into mis-understandings, started looking down at me and concidered me a social outcast, an idiot and something worth bullying. Please don't bring back my feared past...

Language Arts (A) today was just plain scary. Most of the class had forgotten to complete the Act 1 Scene 1 Worksheet, and I was part of the 'Most'. When she came to my table to check my worksheet, she just turned to the next table, leaving me with a sharply dictated phrase of "Shocking.". Call me weird, but hearing that from her was somewhat scary. The way she said it, I guess, gave the effect. But nevermind about that. After a short nagociation, I had an extension of deadline to 6pm today. So I'd better be quick for Land Training today...

Then in Earth Science, Mdm started the grading for the 'We are the World' presentation, and I was last for the day. After Japan(Arjun), Russia(Faraaz), India(Justin) and The Maldives(Jaira), and with North Korea(Tim) and the other country which I forgot(Kirby) not prepared to present, Israel came in for the finale. For my presentation, I chose my focus point to be the overall population increase, or a Population Boom. I did all I could to dazzle the class with the little animations I placed in the slides, but I'm not sure if that gains me any extra marks. I think it falls under Originality or Presentation Skills, I guess.

When we were dismissed, Kirby told me his famous, "Good job!" before informing me that my animation would out-run Tim's. Turns out that Tim wanted to chalendge me into an animation duel, and in Kirby's opinion I've secured victory to myself. I asked Tim if he really wanted to chalendge me, and he did say yes, but now he feels that if he shows his animation, it'll look as if he copied the animations from me. Ah, well.

Land Training; 3 sets of 400m Sprints, a warm-down of 400m jog, gym and medicine ball. Surprisingly enough, we finished training today at a close 5+pm. (The list may be quite short, but the items can take time...) Mr. See, promised by this achivement, encouraged this kind of speed for training sessions. Quick to start, quick to train hard, quick to pack up. But once dismissed, I quickly did my worksheet along with Kirby and we both then handed it into the 4.8 pigeon hole, just as Mdm requested.

Safe call, huh.

Well, better prepare for tomorrow's History papezzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz..........

Where I Stand

Today's History Common Test. And I couldn't revise much last night due to 'sleep' issues. Let's just see what happens...

Caught up with the sylabus in Maths.

Completed Physical Science Assignment during Language Arts (B) [With permission - We were suppose to be revising for the exams].

Beginning of Oral Test for CL'B'.

Learnt a bit more of 'He's A Pirate' for 1st half of Recess, then studied a little more for the exams in the later half.

Physical Science felt somewhat fun today. Must have been because I was able to understand more concepts this lesson.

Faraaz and Tim presented for Music today; both people presenting 'heavy' songs. Faraaz's song's lyrics were incomprehendable but the tune was enjoyable, and Tim's song, in my opinion, was rather 'peaceful' for a 'heavy' song. Either than that, music was only 4 minutes long.

Enrichment Programme was made short into 1/3 itself. Thanks to exams. I pity my teacher-n-charge. She had to cover so much in so little time.

Okay. That was rather fast. Fine, then. Now for the exam part. Being the kiasi person I'd be during an exam, I emptied my pockets fully; wallet to phone to blackbook. The paper was by-average tough: MCQs would be really bad, but SBQs may boost an advantage. Then after the paper, I did my ussual stunt of drinking a full Ice Mountain bottle of water. Cheers.

Then I stayed back for lunch with Tim, Junn Kit an Kirby, and a few other ACPS Boys. After the meal, they did some arm wrestling, and so I decided to join in. Results: Mig vs. Kirb = 0-1, Mig vs. Tim = 1-0, Mig vs. Mig vs. Aik = 1-0. For Kirby's case, no one knew what happened, wanting to believe that I was just making Kirby's day by purposely loosing to him. Up to them to wander about...

Turning point...

One year ago.

One year ago, I sat at the left corner of the Old Auditorium, watching a group of students on the stage sustaining their right hand up and chanting a mysterious code the meaning I was unaware of. I watched as those students became part of the Prefectorial Board, and I told God and myself;

"Sheesh, I'll never go up there. I'm too shy to end up there and I doubt anyone would listen to me."

One semester ago.

One semester ago, I was moderately well addapted to the class. To the school. TO my new friends, teachers and so on. But that Monday. That Monday, Mrs. Sharon Woon wrote on the board a few names. She then turned around and explained that she felt that the people on the board were suitable for being prefects and that she strongly encourages those students to try the Board out.

I was part of that list.

She then told those on the board to stand if they felt that they would like to give their shot. Some stayed seated, fearing on what was yet to come. Others stood on, in their bravery and willingness to help out in the school society. I stood on. I do not blame either sides for backing out or staying on - I respect any decision made. But I just state, I stood on. Voted by majority in my class, the class was used as a testimony for me to join the Board.

One term ago.

One term ago, actually before that term even started, I was standing with other Year 1 Nominees on the Astro Turf, all sweating, hurting, screaming. We had been cheering for the past 4 hours straight, trying to perfect our skills shout after shout after shout. The pain lingered in our lungs and throats, and we all desperatly wanted a break. But the camp commanders were still 'angry' and dissapointed at our cheering status, insisting that we'd do more training. We held each other with encouragements, reminding each other that we were suffering as a team. As a Probation Board. We had to persist - there was no other way through or out.

One holiday ago.

One holiday ago, I was enjoying the luxuries of the End-Of-Year Prefectorial Camp, and all of us were having the time of our lives! I made it through the Selection Camp, the Interview and my Probation Duties, and now I've got a sterdy place in the Board! The BBQ session was delicious, the games were well-entertaining, sleeping conditions and mates were great, and worship sessions to God were at standard inrtervals! I truly enjoyed being a prefect at this end of the line, and I had yet to know I was about to recieve my badge and collar pin to officially join the Board.

One week ago.

One week ago, I was sitting at the New Auditorium waiting for the Dedication rehersals to start. Bored, I played around on the stage with other fellow classmates/prefects and did a few cheap-trill things like pretending to be the Pastor, Dr. Ong and Mrs. Fanny Tan. Interesting that my time of power is just so close. Only one more week and I get the permanant chance of staying in the Board! Let's see how things turn out...

On this day.

On this day, I stood on the stage, doing something I never thought I'd do a year ago. I was saying the Prefect Dedication Pledge! And wearing the Prefect Ceremonials! And tie! God has proven me wrong that I'd never end up here, and I guess I have no choice but rejoice for his blessings! Blessings and honour and glory and power shall be with my God forever and ever and evAH!

I ever knew I'd end up in this situation: Becoming a prefect. In fact, I always rejected such powers through most of Lower Primary. Then Upper Primary came, and God started blessing me as a Group Leader, then a Class Vice-Representitive, and then a Dicipline Monitor. Then in Secondary, I was stripped of my records and had to work from the bottom all over again. I still had my faith on God that He'd be with me throughout my work, and soon enough, I was the Earth Science Representative of my class. A good-enough start, I must say. Then I was introduced into the Board, and became a Prefect Nominee. And the next year, I was quickly appointed as Language Arts Representitive, a powerful place since it's directly under the Form Teacher.

And now this - A comfirmed place in the Board and the title of Assistant Prefect.

And as I wear this Cerems like as if I was singing SexyBack,...

I'm bringing Sexy'Fect
Them other bad boys don't know how to act
So we just tell them, "What's behind your back?"
So turn around and I'll check for a flack.

...Where was I? Oh, right. As I wear this blazer, I'm proud that the Lord allowed this to happen, as the Bible did say that all things can only happen if God himself allows it, and I can now put more faith on Him as my Saviour. I pray the same prayer that my Mom would pray; that when people see me, they do not see 'me', but instead see Jesus instead. I'd like to thank God for all He's done to prepare me for this, and for paving the way for me to walk on blindly but faithfully.

But that's enough of the dedications. Looking at it from time's prespective;

The night before, I had to wear my cerems just to make sure that it wasn't so obvious that I would be wearing my PE kit inside the suit. After being contented with a good configuration, I went to sleep, having to toss and turn for a few minutes in excitement before actually knocking off.

The next day, I woke up as early as I could, ate a quick breakfast, packed into my bag the final things I need to add, put on my different 'costumes' layer by layer and rushing into my Dad's car to zoom off for the school. Assuming at first that the Prefect Council was joking when they said to meet at 6.30, I arrived at the school at 6.50, quickly placed my bags into the classroom while greeting JK and Tim, and ran off like the symbol of The Apprentice to the New Auditorium. I quickly sat into my seat and awaited for the next order, which apparently due to the fact that not 100% of us were present, was to be dismissed till 7.10. I quickly went down to the SAC with some fellow prefects and bought myself a bottle of Ice Mountain, finishing it off as fast as I could after practicing with the SAC piano. I then rushed my way back to the New Audi before the rest of the student cohord and the invited schools did. And boy, were they in for a little 'sumthin'.

The order of the whole thing was this;
-Prelude
~They play a relaxing score on the piano. Possibly to calm us all down for what's about to happen.
-Arrival of Guest-of-Honour, Dr. Tan See Seng, and Senior Administration
-Call to Worship
-Opening Hymn 'We Gather Together'
-Opening Prayer
~By Rev. Kenneth Huang
-Scripture Lesson
~By Vice-Head Prefect Peter Wang
-Guest-of-Honour's Address
~By now, the full bottle of water I drank was starting to kick in, and a mild but obvious urge to 'empty' nwas about to arise...
-Prefect's Dedication
~This was the part where we go to the stage and say our oath with our right hand raised. I was at the back row, 7th from the right.
-Prayer
~Rev. prays for us.
-Hymn 'Pass It On'
~Personally, a touching song from my past.
-Presentation of Token of Appreciation
~Dr. Ong gives Dr. Tan token(s).
-Head Prefect's Address
~As secretly planned, all the prefects stood up and applauded/cheered once Henry was finished with his speech. He deserves the encouragements, truthfully.
-Video Presentation
~Augh! Don't remind me! There was a particular scene where they were doing an interview in Dr. Ong's office. The thing was that there's a fountain in the room, and the fountain wasn't shown in the video. Thus, the footage appeared and sounded as if they were interviewing Dr. Ong while he was peeing! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!! And the interview lasted a minute or two! Imagine someone who had such a bladder! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh, and there was also the scene at the back of the show where all the prefects would pat their chest twice before pointing to the camera, a 'chim' version of showing "Chill!'. It took us five takes just to get a perfect coordinating shot.
-Hymn of Dedication 'O Jesus I Have Promised'
-Benediction
-School Anthem
-Reseption
~We prefects, the school staff and the other invited schools were invited to go downstairs next to the Artificial Turf for the buffet they laid out for us! The thing was that we prefects had to serve the others first before we ourselves could eat. Figures, but still fun! And the food was awesome! Michael kept on coming back to the serving table for more and more chicken drumsticks!

Once the meals were all eaten, the Prefect Councilors, Senior Prefects and Prefects went to tour the visiting school representatives around ACS(Indep.), while the Assistant Prefects were left behind to clean up the buffet area and the New Audi, before returning back to class. Once in the classroom, the class applauded for our 'comfirmation': a pleasurable thing to be welcomed by. We then resumed our studies until 12, when we had to go off to meet at the Round-a-bout for our photo taking. After an hour's worth of arranging the prefects, deciding the location of shot(s), taking the candid photos and waiting for Dr. ong to start the formal picture, we were hurriedly dismissed for our exams, mine being Language Arts (B).

The paper, while praying to God through the process, was quite standard and, possibly speaking, 'fun'. I praise the Lord that He allowed me to make it through and that I did all that I could, trusting that He could ensure that more was done. The ironic part of the paper was that the prefects had to wear their cerems through the thing. Ah, well. Once I finished the paper, I did my ussual stunt of drinking a full Ice Mountain bottle's worth of water in one go without stopping. And for the fist time in a year, someone noticed me doing the stunt. Kirby told me his ussual ammusing "Good job!" phrase once the papers were collected.

After the test, I went to the Bus Bay and stripped off my cerems to reveil my PEness, as rehearsed last night. Canoeing went as Status Quo, just that I had to wear my slippers instead of my present shoes (Would you expect someone to do sports in leather shoes?). But we were being told about our standards in dicipline and it's shocking shortage compared to the time when the club started. Mr. See has a point, but not sure if this went through the Juniors' heads.

"Condemned one, be brave!..."

Was too tired to post yesterday after the party...

10 Feburary 2007
John of Arcadium...

Today, not many people turned up for training. Most of the juniors turned up, but only a few seniors did the same; only two from Year 2 (including me). So racing 8k along with Joon Sin seemed quite easy. Tsk tsk.

After training, I quickly made my way back home, washed up, ate a quick lunch and went out again to John's house for his birthday party. I didn't really know his address, so I had to deduce which house he lived in based on prior knoledge. So it went something like this:

1) John lived near Nanyang.
Ans: Go to Coronation area.

2) At John's house warming, I remember that the house was plainly designd, unlike the other half of the area which was urbanly designed.
Ans: Go to the area with plain houses.

3) John once mentioned about the fact that since he lives near cross junctions, he heard 7 accidents in just his first month of stay.
Ans: Go check the houses within cross junction.

4) After parking the car, my family entered the house for the house warming through a side walkway on the right of the house.
Ans: Limit the houses to those at left turns, facing the direction of the houses themselves.

5) For the buffet at the house warming, the buffet items were on the parkway, and we had to eat at the garden a couple of meters higher than the parkway.
Ans: Look for the house with a parkway and a garden held a couple of meters or so higher.

Once I found the house with the most desired traits, I nervously pressed the bell and asked if I was correct. And so I was! Hooray! Welcomed in by a concerned maid, I was told to go up the stairs to find the rest of the people. So I walked up the stairs and lo and behold, the full crewwas there! It took some time for John to recognise me, I guess, but when I entered the glass-walled study room, everyone saw me and welcomed me with shouts of "Miggy!"s. I shook a few hands and then watched as they resumed their games on their computers. Apparently, they all brought their Tablet PCs along with them and were playing all the different games I've learnt of from them and games which I've yet to understand. So for the next 4 or so hours, I;
a) Watched the others play their games.
b) Read an Archie Comic that was apparently standing on one of the desks.
c) Borrowing one of the computers to look around in the internet.
d) Practicing the piano with one of the pianos downstairs.
e) Watching most of the other guys try to torture Kevin with the ways of the Ninja.

While I was doing c), I decided to look into other people's blogs. It was then that I saw another one of Tim's emotional posts about feeling quite miserable. Turns out that one of the causes of the misery was none other than a question I posted in my blog. The question about dieing in front of my friends. He answered his version of the question, and felt very doubtful of himself, thinkinhg that no one would go forward to save him.

Then I found out that before it reached Tim, it went to Ben's blog! I checked it out and saw how he responded. Said he was shocked to see me type something like that, but I guess he took the question the right way round. I never realised how philosophical the question could actually get. I always saw it in the point of the victim, I never realised how it'd have lloked like from the point of the victim's friend. But now, I say that I shouldn't be bothered with the question AT ALL! God has a plan for me, whether in good times or in bad ones, and no question of how my death would be like is gonna stop me from believing that! God has truely blessed me with such good friends and I will not doubt that as long as God reigns, which is FOREVAH!!! AMEN!!!

So coming back to the party, after the four hours, dinner arrived! We all rushed down to grab the stuff we ordered. On the box was the phrase, 'This stall is highly recommended'. Ironically;
I. The fries weren't even salty. You can't even call them fries! They're just sticks of potatoes deep fried in oil to be made just as unhealthy as the real thing.
II. They poured baked beans all over the food. I understand that in a take-away, they ussually mix up the elements to make good use of space. But please! There are some foods that do not, or cannot, require the mixing with beans!
III. The beef is so tough. Now, we all know that beef IS suppose to be tough, but THIS is ridiculous! I mean... nevermind. Aik Leng is having fun with the meat already...

After a quick dinner, they all quickly rushed upstairs again, just to continue playing a few more rounds of gaming. Then I was suppose to go soon, so they brought the cake-cutting event earlier. We first had photo taking, followed by singing Happy Birthday, cutting the cake, eating the cake, eating more of the cake and finally running back upstairs to play more. Ah, well. By the time I got back home, it was 11 in the evening, so i quickly Knozzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz...................

11 Feburary 2007
"Condemned one, be brave!..."

Today, my Mom and I wern't suppose to go to church today - Dad reaffirmed the once-in-a-fortnight rule again - but Mom, somehow by the Grace of God, convinced him to let us go today and let us not go next week. Praise the Lord...

Today's sermon was about condemnation and how it can destroy, and even kill, us.

To put things simple, let's imagine you and your bestest best friend meet up and the both of you decide to go for a movie or two the next day. After agreeing, you decide to borrow money from your friend for 'personal' reasons, giving him a garuntee that you'd pay him back when you see each other again tomorrow, and so he/she willingly gives you the money. Besides, the amount of money is good enough for one movie ticket, so once you give him/her back the money, he/she can pay it straight for his/her ticket. But somehow in themiddle of the night, you 'misplaced' the money. You know that for your own reasons you can't pay him back an so you start to panick.

On the day of the movie, you decide not to go in fear that you'd be reprimanded by your friend. But after 10 minutes of the arranged meeting time, your friend calls you up, asking for where you are. You painfully tell him the truth, and expect your friend to yell back at you. But instead, he/she says, "Don't worry, lah! I cover everything oledi! Now can we watch the movie?" Knowing that you've been forgiven, and that you don't have to pay back, you agree to come for the next movie.

When the both of you meet up, your friend still offers to pay for the tickets, the snacks and even the lunch that was by now an hour off schedule. But throughout the movie, you keep feeling guilty that you made your friend loose out in $___.__. Time after time, you tell your friend that you really feel that you should pay him backand you try to give him all that you can give for the time being, but he/she persists and demands that you just sit back and enjoy the show.

Now, in the same way, we've all got to agree that we've one way or another cheated on our trust with God. And many a times we think that God hates us for what we've done and is far from forgiving our actions. We may think that an action that we've done could have been more insultive to God than others and try to run away from God as you can tell He'd have His revenge on you. But that is so not His way. Instead, He used His only Son, sinless and pure, just to pay up for what we needed to suffer. And in the end, we all enjoy each other's presence with the Lord and manifest in His fruitful blessings.

But then condemnation comes along to try to make you look down at yourself, saying that you're unworthy of the blessings that God has prepared for you after doing _____ or ______. As such, if you believe the condemnation, you end up panicking and stop enjoying the things God places in front of you. The truth is, if we we so perfect that we could avoid doing the 'bad actions' by ourselves, 1) Jesus died for nothing and 2) God's grace would be for nothing. Through God's grace, Jesus died on the cross to pay the devil all the sufferings man deserved, deserves and will deserve, so that once paid, sin has no rights to condemn you anymore, and so you have nothing to worry about the next time you 'sin'. Just remember that a) it was paid for already, b) all you have to do is believe it was paid for already and c) sit back, relax and enjoy the life God is about to reward you with.

La danza de Miguel...

Fell asleep after working on powerpoints. Here we go again...

8 Febuary 2007
La danza de Miguel

Today started with my discovery that our class' CNY decorations are becoming more and more weak compared to the other upgrading clases. That's it! I'm gonna do all that I can tomorrow to repair the decors! Mark my words!...

For recess, I asked Shil if I could learn another stanza of 'He's A Pirate' from the Pirates of the Carribean: Curse of the Black Pearl soundtrack. I've been secretly practicing parts of the song in my house using my Younger Sister's mini keyboard (I know its suppose to be embarassing, but that's how desperate and determine I am on learning the piano. After hearing Shil, Kirby, Junn Kit and many other 'Mozart's that made up most of the class population, I told myself, 'It's about time you leart to play the darn instrument too.')

He willingly (but probably painfully) agreed and was hurriedly lead to the SAC piano by a childishly-excited me. He then played the whole song first, followed by the first stanza, then did my best to follow behind. He tought me a few handy tricks on playing the piano, and I must say, I'm pretty surprised with his skills(exclamation point.). A few people were watching and some reprimanded him along the way, but he kept on teaching me, and I'm thankful for that. Thanks, Shil.

After learning the first and famous stanza, I made my way back to the class just in time for me to prepare for the Journey to the West (Side of the Old School Compound Where the Laboratories Are Found) before the teacher made the class 'get down' ('knock it down') again. Phew. Three weeks and still maintaining...

For the practical today, we experimented with a few elements that reacted with water in a way boys would call 'smashing'! And boy, did it go with a bang! When Mdm called the class to gather, I ended up arriving late and the area around the lab's shield was already full before I even had a chance to be a couple of meters close. So seeing that the crowd overflowed all the way to the back of the teacher, I decided to watch from there. The experiments were gonna be performed right in front of me without a shield protecting me from possible flares, burns and deafness but I was willing to take my chances. Now fill in the blanks:

1) First on the list was ________, which only sizzled in the water before slowly dissolving away. Nothing much scary so everyone stood their ground. Then the next element was gonna be tested and they brought in a larger tank to contain the water in. Some knew well what this meant and slowly stepped back, but most of us were still where we were.

2) Next was ________, which gave off hydrogen gas for a few seconds before bursting into orange flames! We were amazed and gave a good applause before asking for the last element. This was the part where most of the students present backed off. But somehow, I stood my ground. Junn Kit was already telling me to stand back, but my curiosity had the best of me.

3) Last was ________, which had the same response as the previous element, just that there were 2 additional effects. First, the flame popped itself into a purple colour instead of orange. We applauded louder and stared at the nice flame as it swirled around the tank. Then came the second effect. The ________ suddenly gave a loud "POP!" and dissapeared infront of our eyes. We looked in amazement, not realising that the ________ was flying in the air. And when an element is shot towards the ceilling, even those behind the shield aren't safe. The ________ sprinkled down on top of ONLY those who were in front of the shield, and those within the line of fire were COMPLETELY safe! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!! You should have seen the face on Tim when the liquid smuthered on top of his right arm! AHaaaaaHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!! (Sigh) That was priceless.

For CL'B', Shawn was at it again. He went out of the class on his own accord, even when the teacher was yelling at him to come back. When he came back, he sat down and spat across the table (In CL'B', we all use the same Boardroom table). Things just get more and more entertaining, don't they? I've yet to deduce the explanaton for all this, but I can wait.

For Training, I'm satisfied with my progress; I've been constantly beating Derek in a single for the past week! Yay! Next in line is Ryan. May God be with me!... Then after training, I can final declare here that I've made my first 'chatty' conversation with the Seniors! Woohoo! For those who don't know, I'm well known for my alarming quietness in Canoeing, and my emotions in class is more than quartripple what I am in Canoeing. In fact, I've been known as The Emotionless Guy by one of my friends. But after that conversation with many of the Seniors, I feel so understood! You know, that comment from Ei Pin ("Hey! Don't mess with Raemiguel! He's damm powerful!") really shocked me. Hearing that from him is somewhat an honour for a guy like me. Some saw, but for a quarter of my walk to the bus stop, I was actually dancing. Me and my weird emotions...

Now've gotta complete my E Sci and Com Sci PowerPoints by tonight! Wish me luck...

Today's the day. I strolled into my class, clutched hands at the side. I went to my table, dropped my bags, and took out my weaponry. Shoved a ball of string in my 'free' pocket, and tossing my scissors into the air before catching it and sliding it into my waist adjuster in a simple but swift move, I navigated my way around the class, starting my renovation mission to uphold the beauty of the class. I was not going to watch the class crumble into a mess and let another class take a prize that belongs to us! No way! CNY is ours! MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

Then for E Sci, I handed my PowerPoint about the population problem in Israel to Mdm via email. Thanks go to Ting Wei, who I had to borrow the Internet from, and God, for without Him, none of this would have been possible. Amen! Mdm seems more stressed today, but I'll keep playing along...

Next was a CL'B' lesson I'd never expect.

Shawn Khoo, in the presence of the class, including Mdm, chalenged me into an arm wrestling match.

Wow. Timeout. What just happened? Shawn askes me for a round of arm wrestling (and we all know he's gonna win) and there goes the rest of the class cheering me on to try him out. Even the teacher said she permitted it if I wantred to go. I somehow ended up saying yes, and next thing I know I'm seated opposite Shawn, holding his hand and doing all I could to force it down. But like everyone predicted, I lost after sustaining for half a minute.

Who cares?! I've got a Chinese Letter to write!! Soon, other people start asking me to chalenge them too. I kept telling them the Chinese Letter excuse, but they kept on persisting, and I kept on writing. Typical me.

Recess was just sad. Raam was asking me if I could go eat with him, and I agreed. But when I said I was going to sit with the Henry Boys again, he slowly started to back away into the crowd. While I ate my Egg Prata with them guys, someone suddenly brought in the subject of a Raam sitting all alone at a table across the other side of the canteen. We all watched in whisper-quiet observation, and I wasn't sure of the others, but I felt so sad for the guy. So once I finished my Prata (Mmm...) I made my way to his table, sat down and chatted with him. Soon, Shill joined in and we were making fun out of each other with minor sitcom debates! Good to see Raam smiling again.

For White Space, we had another round of E Sci today, and by now the school had already shut downed all the air-cons, and so after enduring the heat for 6 minutes, I hurriedly asked ZW for the class key, unlocked all the doors and windows and opened all of them (except the Hard Window) WIDE. But after a period, the prefects ahd to make their way to the New Audi for the rehearsals of our swearing-in, andso we left another Geog teacher dissapointed that her lesson's falling apart with great winds blowing through the classroom like Hurricane Durian and with a quarter of the Class population missing. Sigh.

We made it to the New Audi, which was empty and abbandoed when we arrived. So just to occupy time while waiting for our next instructions, we started playing around with the stage! And it was fun! Cal had a chance to play Pastor, Jai to be a quior boy, Ben Sim to be Miss Fanny Tan and I to be Dr. Ong! I actually sat on Dr. Ong's seat! Yay! But soon, the un had to fade as more and more people joined in the fun, decreasing the speciality factor. Sigh...

So for the next couple of hours, we prefects were all practicing our seating, standing, walking, swearing, timing and hand raising over and over and over again. Tire tire, sweat sweat. But after we finally nailled it, we Year 2's recieved our new Prefect Ties! Yahoo! I looked smashing with the new dark blue on! Haha! Now to wear this for the reast of my mortal ACS(I) life!...

Ah, well. All I can reveal now is that I'll be at the back row, 7th from the right. So watch out for me! God be with me on this!...

And on your left, we see the ACPS Boys...

Today, as I've mentioned yesterday, was the Life Science Common Test 1. Panic panic, sweat sweat, smile smile. But there's still some lessons before that, so let's delay the exam part first...

In Music, Kirby presented 'Call Me When You're Sober' for his presentation. A nice heavy song with tiny classical twists time after time. The thing was that he didn't do much (or should I say do anything) for the oral part of the presentation where he talks about the song and so on. So he's garunteed by Mr. Lee to have 'not done well'. Then it was Faraaz's turn, but he somehow couldn't use his tablet and couldn't play the song of his presentation. Pity.

But after settling the terms that Faraaz would present next week, we were given a lecture about music video and how its artisticness was suppose to blend in with the song. Giving an example, he played the music video for 'A Song For Mama'. It was a touching song about the love for a mother, and the video itself was just as touching. Esspecially the scene where a son was crying as he saw his mom lying motionless on a hospital bed. Being the 'touchable' guy I can be, I almost cried but was saved in time when I saw the later half of the video which had one of the worst animation qualities to have ever made it in one piece to the 21th Century. That's just me being the 'technical' guy I can tend to be. Figures...

Then came CL'B', and for now, all I can say is that I think I'm starting to get the hang of being the classmate of Shawn Ku (if that's how you spell it). If Jaira can talk about him with a smile on his face, I assume that there's more to Shawn I've yet to see and rely on for judgement. All I know is that there's always more and more evidence I see everyday that show that there's another side of him, that God always has everthing under control, that He will never give me too much that I can't handle and that all things He allow, as long as I trust Him and allow Him to take control over the situation, would always lead for the better.

Next was recess, and since today's Fried Food Day, I bought the ussual Teriyaki Fried Chicken Rice! (Scream!) Oh, I loooove Fried Food Day!!!... I then searched for the table where I assumed most of the class was seated and sat along with them. There was an available spot next to Calvin, but Toj wanted me to sit at the edge of the table next to him, and so I went along. I then had a quiet meal (a ussual thing for me) while I listened to Jai telling Toj how I've been writing into this blog on how I appreciate their hospitality in the Canteen.

For Enrichment Programme, our class had to do BizWizz or something like that. It's basically an enlarged version of Monopoly, just that the 'Stock Market' is involved. I've been chosen to be in Michael's group and was assigned as one of The Vice-Presidents of the group and Personel-In-Charge of Design. I've yet to understand the market system...

Then came the test. The Life Science Commonn Test. (Scream!) The questions were quite hard, but I praise the Lord that much of what I studied was relevant for the paper. Phew. But at the same time, I did miss out on a few details here and there. (Gasp!) Oh, well. Once I finished, I did the ussual things I'd do while waiting for the time to be up; Drink up all the remaining water in my water bottle in one go, practicing on how to mimic a dinosaur using my hands, attempting to go to sleep but most likely failing, watching what the other people behind me are doing using my watch as a mirror, ect. As far as I saw, Justinn, Tim and Joel were the only ones who made it to dreamland. No fair.

After the test, we all grabbed our bags and left the classroom, discussing with each other what our answers were. I walked my way to the school bus stop, meeting Kirby along the way and Tim, Aik Leng and a few other Retard Squad members at the stop itself. When we got onto the bus, I found out that they (except Kirby) were headed for KAP (MacDonald's, King Albert Park) to celebrate Han Jie's birthday. Being qurious about what the ACPS Boys' lives are like, I asked if I could join in. I wouldn't have been surprised if they told me no, but I guess you know what happened. Tim asked that if a 'looser' like him could go, why couldn't I? Tim? 'Looser'? Always looking at him as one of the most powerful icons in the ACPS GEP world, I never knew how those words came together. But it's his vocabulary, I guess...

The rest of the bus journey consisted of either one of these at all times:
1) A 'Q-and-A' session conducted by me on the lifestyles of the ACPS boys.
2) Simple chat with Tim.
3) Quiet stoning.

Once at the alighting bus stop, the boys J-walked across the road to the other side where KAP was, leaving me, in my almost full Assistant Prefect Uniform, to walk the full route to the traffic light crossing. Knowing the acess points to the compound well (Lived within the area for about 11 years) I caught up with them guys and proceeded into the building. I followed Tim and Kirby as they were led by the others in circles through the outlet, only to leave the three of us and make us realize we were being ambushed and ditched. This, according to Tim, was understandable as a) Kirby ussually ruined parties, esspecially those involving girls, b) Someone in the party group had grudges against .10ers and c) I was concidered new and not many would know me ythat well.

So we decided to sit somewhere near the main entrance and went to buy our stuff. I bought the ussual: Cheeseburger, Apple Pie and Vanila Milkshake. When I got back to the table, I sat down and ate along with Tim, until he soon found 'someone of known-being' at the other side of the level we were tabled on. Wanting to visit, he left me to take care of his food. With the fact that the time was already 3.30 p.m., I'd concider that as a big mistake. Being hungry as I was, and with Tim's fries calling me with an imaculate chorus, I couldn't fight the overwhelming temptations. :P Not sure if he saw me eating them, but I just want to say sorry Tim... :(

When everyone(3) of us were back, we continued our meals while Kirby and Tim entrilled me with tales of the ACPS life. They then did a comentary on the other ACPS boys who were seated about 5-7 tables away as we watched them celebrate the birthday party from where we were seated.

The Commentators

The Commented

After sometime of lecturing on their behaviours, Kirby decided to try his (slim) luck in going over to their table and join in the activities, which I so far noticed was talking about gaming, attempting stunts with their food and flirting with the female guests. Tim and I watched as he proceeded to the other table and stayed there for another 5 minutes. When he signaled to us that there was peace between them and us, we grabbed our bags (and I grabbed the free napkins) and we migrated over to their end of the joint. I stood there watching what they each did and how they react to/with each other. It was facinating to watch how Kirby's randomness actually plays a part in holding the structure of their sociality and how it fit's perfectly into the society. But I knew that despite how interested I was in the topic, I had to go home soon and so I slowly stepped back bit by bit. But5 Kirby and Tim were also finding their que of leave and so asked me to wait for them outside.

After stoning with Ronald MacDonald at the main entrance for a few minutes, I recieved a call from Tim telling me to go meet him at (static), so I crossed over to the other side. But after finding no Kirby or Tim, I assumed that I misunderstood their instructions and made a couple of rounds around the building before concluding that I was left behind. Walking to the bus-stop, I praised the Lord for blessing me with the opportunity to discover this side of the Secondary World.

Now to report to my parents how Life Sciences was like...

Incoming Granade!...

For today, I had to attend a prefect committee meeting before school. As part of the Fund-Raising Committee, our grouo had to plan activities that can help raise funds that we can donate to charity. So for the meeting, we (Confidential) and (Confidential). Oh, and I forgot to (Confidential) so I'd have to do it by Thursday.

PE was same ol' same ol', exept for the fact that Kirby finally brought his full PE attire! For running, Toj, Ting Wei, Tim and I were at the front of the class running at ridiculous speeds of 1-min-30. It's always fun when you run in groups; that way, you can sustain each other's pace and also have a nice chat with each other so the pain doesn't feel so intense. In the end, TW came first, followed shortly by me, Toj and Tim. And for 4 laps, 7.06 isn't bad at all. Everything ended with a good warm-down and a wholesome round of Street Soccer.

After that was recess, where we all stumbled our way to the classroom to change, then move down to the SAC for a refreshing drink/replenishing bite/both. Due to the raise my Mom gave me yesterday, I was able to buy 2 egg tarts today instead of 1. I gathered at the table where most(2) of the class population was settled.

ISO wanted me to finalise my research question for the year. In other words, "Is that your final question?" Well, I've got most of it all planned out, so in the next few months, please participate in the survey that pops out in this blog.

In Language Arts A, Miss Kavita asked for sets of applause from the class as Kirby:
1) Brought his Midsummer Night's Dream book!
2) Brought his PE attire for PE!
3) Brought his school diary!

Such a special day. Even Wei Yang plans to buy 4D now...

For trainning, everything was also status quo. Pull-Ups, Warm-Up Stretching, Push-Ups, Running(again), Gym Training, Medicine Ball Training, Debrief, Dismissed. Tiring as ussual, but that's bareable.

I guess that's about it, but now I've got to do some studying for my L Sci Test tomorrow, so please pray for me, fellow Christians, as I pray for you too! Adieu! God bless you!

Headline News: Raemiguel Shot Down...

My Mom gave me an unseen raise in my allowance; double the whole sum. She felt concern about the fact that my present allowance didn't always sustain me through the week, so now I've got $(confidential) per day! Something to be thankful to God about...

Today, our class lost the key. Tim and a few others did a thorough investigation, and even called me up for a short interigation while I was within the school compound. After all, I was the last person to sign OUT the key. Ah well, we'd have ot bring our bags and DNAs into Chapel for now...

Chapel was about us being the Salt of the earth. We helping out in the 'advertising' of Christianity. Something I've been taught many times already, but being taught again would be harmless.

Then for Art, we sat back into our 5 tables. The ACPS Boys were asking me if I seriously was registered as an asperger. I explained again that I was something like a 5% Justin, and they started commenting that I had the IQs, and addapted the EQs, giving me a facinating configuration and, according to them, making me 'creative' and 'smart'. I was grateful that my friends would give such comments, but I wasn't gonna let God miss out on all the Glory. In my mind, I was praising Him that He made me what I am today, and that I trust in what He plans to put me through for my future.

After that was recess, when I handed in my DNA to the Laboratory. I'm gona get othing for flexibility (literally) but I just hpoe I get high for materials and creativity. We'll just see... Then I went down to eat recess; a wholesome plate of two egg pratas. Mmmmm. Then I tried what Toj advised me to try out; ask for a space in the class table. I tried it first on a simple table with a bit of room left to spare, but by the time I got there, the guys were starting to leave. What I didn't know was that they were moving to the next table which was more dense and populated. So I joined in and moved towards the other table.

I looked, and all the space was occupied. But Toj told me to try even if so happened. SO I stepped forward and feeling like as if I was making too stingy a request, asked if there was room for me. They stared at me for a while, and I assumed that meant a 'No', so I started to walk off.

Until Toj grabbed my shirt.

"No no no no no, Miggy!" "Yah," said Jaira. "You're the No. 1 person we'd invite to sit here and for food-picking(sampling)!" Toj even got off his seat just to make room for me. Seeing that they wanted me to sit there, I went and sat. Then I engaged in multi-tasking; listening to Jai's Rugby battle stories, answering Wei Yang's questions on my blog and conversating with other people who were behind me. Then when most of them were finished, they left few by few.

When Niranjan and Cal were left, they were complimenting me on my animation skills and how I could actually do such astounding works with PowerPoint. I simply told them the truth that it was all trial and error, good animation passed down from PowerPoint to PowerPoint. Then I asked Niran what was the 'caremel-looking' stuff he was eating. He explained it was a delicacy from the Italian shop, and offered the remainder to me. Although there was only a spoonful of the stuff left, I knew very well that things from the Italian shop are always expensive, and that that spoonful could be worth a dollar. I refused the offer, but he insisted and so I ate. Tasted like coffee, and nicely blended I must say. When I finished, Niran also contributed to throw away the carton. I told him I had it all under control, but he also insisted with a long term of wotrds I couldn't comprehend that fast, so I gave in.

After returning my cutleries, I walked back to class, praising God for 1) Such nice friends that appreciate me for who I am, 2) blessing me with all the talents I've got and 3) the fact that God was with me through it all.

Then a question slippedinto my mind.

If I happend to somehow die in my classroom, infront of the entire class, what would happen? Who would move forward to aid me? Who would stay back in fear? Who would stand their ground in satisfaction? At the wake, who would be present? Who would cry? Who would smile? Who would be angry? Who would turn away?

Well, I refuse to know the answer. It would just be unfair. People have their rightsto make their decissions, and I have no right to intrude. And besides, no one would actually be certain about it unless it really happened. So for now, I'm just gonna enjoy what God blesses me with. And you should do the same too. Praise God for the good things He's put you in, the opportunities, the events, the changes.

In other news, I had to do rehearsals today for the Prefects' swearing-in. Fun, but serious, but fun. I'll be at the back row, so just watch out for me...

Praise the Lord for being with me during the Mother Tongue Paper!

Project DNA...

Argh! Forgot to do the DNA thingy last night! Will have to do it today. But I must admit, last night was somewhat awkward;

I had a dream of me being at the school's main gate, looking at the school, when suddenly a tornado appears behind the Clocktower. Being as gullable as I was in my sleep (now we all would be in the first place...), I turned around and ran for shelter, cautious not to turn around. I found refuge in an old abandoned house, and after the storm ceased, I went outside, finding a huge chunk of New Multi-Purpose Hall rooftop jammed into the backlawn.

I walked out and found my way back to the school, and boy was it torn apart. 3/4 of the Clocktower was gone, one of the minute arms of the clock was pierced into the road in front of me, the Music Technology Room was roofless, the Red Level Staff Room and anything above it colapsed and the Library was ripped off. Beautiful scenery, coming from a guy who loves architectual destruction. Ah, well...

Anyway, today started off with an early Church session. My Church was able to book two theatres at Eng Wah next door to accomodate for the huge crowds that come in the morning, and today my Mom, Uncle Alex, Uncle Eking and I tried it out for the first time. Felt akward taking Holy Communion instead of popcorn inside a cinema, but hey. God works in mysterious ways. But for today, the message was about how we should shut our doors of weakness from the devil before they get a foothold on us, but instead openig other relevant doors to God so He can opperate His miracles into our lives.

Don't want to go too far, but to keep a long story short, there are three important doors that we have to keep closed;

1) Discouragement - Loss of courage and faith in God and His works.
2) Division - Issolation or refusal to be with people God places into our lives.
3) Distraction - Dilusion of concentration woith God.

As long as you shut the door on the devil things should go fine.

After the service, we went to Carefour to buy some stationaries, then went downstairs to eat lunch and ta pao (take-away) desert. We then went back home, where everyone except me and Morriel would fall asleep. A nice opportunity for me to start on my DNA, I thought. Then came the troubles of the day...

You see, my original plan was to make the model using toothpicks, ice-cream sticks and clay balls. The clay balls would be the sugar/phosphate, the toothpicks as the chemical bonds and the ice-cream sticks as the bases. But apparently, I underestimated the drying duration of the clay, and so the structure couldn't hold for long while drying. Even when I tried to hold up the structure with strings like they would the exhibits in The Human Body, the thing would just slowly fall apart. So...

Project DNA

Failed

My Dad, who by now woke up after 3 hours of me working my best to sustain the structure, scolded me thinking that I intended to do this as a last-minute affair, since it was already 5.something and I'm still back at Ground Zero. He then brought me out to Bukit Panjang Plaza to buy new materails that might be easier for me to assemble. After an hour of searching and shopping (inclusive of Morriel's art materials and some deserts that the family could take after dinner), we went back home, while my Dad advised me on time management time after time on the journey.

I wanted to tell him that it was never a last minute affair, but more of a failed way to end off the weekends with an enjoyable project. You see, the last time I experimented with the same type of clay I used for the project, it took only a couple of hours or so till it became solid, so I thought that doing the project somewheere in teh mid-afternoon was no skin on my nose. But then I found out I was wrong, and now I'm in the position that of a late-worker. I wanted to explain, but I guess I was afraid of starting an argument with my Dad. I'd hold for that.

When we got back, I tried another draft; use ping pong balls as sugar/phosphate, staws as the chemical bonds and the same ice-cream sticks as the bonds. But the staws themselves, despite the lightness of the ping pong balls, couldn't hold on the structure's shape after 3 levels and started to topple at different directions from there onwards. Here we go again...

Project DNA II

Failed

I kept strugling and strugling to find an alternative on how to solve the situations that came with every solution. I really prayed that things would turn out good. Then my Mom came along and wanted to help, due to the fact that 1) I appeared panick and frightened and 2) Bedtime is drawing near; it was already 9. So she and Uncle Alex started giving me advise on how to make the structure more firm - Why not instead of glueing straws, pierce satay sticks? In great desperation, I ripped the model to it's components, opened my pen knife and started to pierce holes into the ping pong balls. My Mom then took over that, while I assembled the sticks into place. And to make it less 'sticky', we covered the sticks with the straws first before locking the balls into place.

After 5 levels, my Mom advised me not to over-do it and stop at where I was. Feeling tired, I agreed and started to spray-paint the structure white so as to make it easier for me to paint on the other colours later. Once done, I added finishing touches like the lines that seperated the bases and...

Project DNA III

Sucessfully Complete

Yay! Praise the Lord! I'm finally done! After clearing up the place, disposing off the unnecesary materials and keeping my life science textbooks where they belong, I was at last able to go and rest. Let's see what happens tomorrow...

"Hello? This is Mr. Lee Fusheng..."

Called SingTel today.

But first, morning trainning was slow today. Had to use a K1 with rubber band, 4k with, 4k without. Then a couple of starts and then pack-up. Followed by Damming, 6 laps.

Then got home and fell asleep for 4 hours before wking up to eat lunch and shower. I then did some blog updating and vuala. Not much to say about today, I guess. how sad.

Well, better go do my DNA model tonight.

God bless one and all.

Terminator IV - The Re-Formatting Day...

Argh! Fell asleep again! Lokks like I need to use a post for two days...

Thursday
Aristotle...
I love this imagination God has blessed me with! Everyday my mind invents a new song, either from scratch or by re-formatting a well-known song. Right now, I'm listening to two hits from the '2.10 Dan - The Musical' CD set, 'Wind It Up' by Keymaster and 'Abandon/God Help/Do Something' by The Class, Me and The Rejects. Really fun! But enough of that for now.

Today my ePOD group had to present my animation of Aristotle for ePOD. I think the teacher wasn't satisfied with the content, but someone's bound to be amazed by the animation. I ray so, at least...

At the end of the lesson, Kirby and Matthew 'violently' debated on wheather Matt's seat was officially next to Tim or not. It lasted for a few minutes, but I guess it ended one way or another...

PE was soccer, with the payment of one round of track and a few chest jumps. Index 1-13 and 14-26 were the two teams, and I think the later won. Darn and yay at the same time.

P Sci Practical was interesting, with the fact that it always is. Today in the lab, the teacher did an experiment involving some chemical that produced blue ions from the negative terminal of an electrical current. This particulatr chemical had a really strong smell and was sufficating, but someone has to stand at the front line one way or another, so I endured. But at the same time, Justn was trying to find an inovative way to watch the experiment from the back. He thought of climbing up one of the desks, but Shil was watching and when Justin was half way up, he tugged him down. Justin fell and bumped onto my back, making me fall forward. I assume everyone was distracted by Justin's fall, thus no one realised that the petri dish that held the liuid was just millimeters in front of my face. I quickly moved back and started sniffing other people's shirts to neutralise the strong odour. Wonder what would have happened if my face ended up being smuthered with the stuff. And with electrcity. Creepy. Praise the Lord I'm safe...

Mr. Ang was absent today, so Hist was a free period. Yipee! I left my history essay on Sanjev's desk, so now I just hope it reaches Sir on time...

Then for canoeing, Jedd wasn't here so I had to take a K1 for 10km. Ouch. But hey, at least now, I can beat Derek! I've improved! Horay!

Friday
Terminator IV - The Re-Formatting Day...

AHHH!!!! IT department!!! Re-format!!! Loss of documents!!! AHHH!!!!
Started my day by collecting my Prefect Ceremonial Clothes (Prefect Cerems) from the Boardroom before making my way to the classroom. I, Junn Kit and a few others were playing around with my blazer! Cheap-trills! :) But then later, Jaira, Zheng Wei, Tim, Matt, JK and a few others were talking about today's IT Department collecting of Tablet PCs from students to install the year's digital textbooks. They started scaring me with stories about... about... (gulp)...

...'Re-Formatting'.

(Horror Violins Play)

They told me that as long as the IT Department finds anything in a computer that looks like a game, they'll re-format the whole computer. And that scared me, 'cause although I'm the innocent guy in class who doesn't have games in his Tablet, I'm not sure what they could concider as 'Games'. In fact, there's a PowerPoint Animation in my Computer titled 'Maths Computer Game', and if they take it that it's not actually 'Maths', they'd re-format my computer! AAHHHHH!!!!! My documents!!!! My research!!! My Tabby!!! AAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!

But they were going to collect the computers later in the day, giving us enough time to hide the laptops. Phew, I thought.

Ben's finally back! After a couple of days with fever, bad cough and flu, he finally came back, and we all applauded when he came through the front door! All except Mr. Tay. He was angry at him for being late for school; after all, he arrived at 8.something, and was also angry that Ben missed the prize-giving with Dr. Ong, where he was suppose to recieve something from him for his Commomwealth Essay last year. Apparently, he's won over 300 pounds! Think how many Sing$ that is, and how much that's worth to a student, and you'd be amazed! Wait-a-go, Ben!

Chinese 'B' was a whole lot more peaceful today; we had to use LMS to do a comprehension homework, so I guess the Express were entriect with their Tablets. Apparently, 1) My connection with the school's wireless is not that good and 2) I forgot my LMS password. Thus, I'll need some time before I can do the assignments...

For Lang Arts A, we had to act out Act 1 Scene 2! Hahaha! The comical part of the play. I'll write the class version of the script one of these days, but by now you should know that the script makes no sense once 'classified', so read at your own risk.

Recess had to be quick, just that I didn't know it had to be. I bought a bowl of Wanton Mee, the first thing I ever ate in the school canteen and, for that matter, in the school. I found a nice seat next to my classmates when Tim suddenly popped out of nowhere saying something like, "They're here! They're here!" I panicked when i heard that and quickly gulped down everything before making a dash for the classroom.

Apparently, the IT Dep hasn't reached our class yet, but they're gaining on us! The climax is still there! AHHH!!! And true enough, during Lang Arts B, they came. They came.

Pushing in a lage trolley, they told us to stick the sticker that they were distributing and write our name, class and passwords. Many were 'safe' enough to hide thier Tablets in their lockers, but I, I was just too late. My Tablet was out and exposed, and I had no choice but to surrender. Slowly but fearfully, I scribbled onto the sticker the relevant details, then took my time to walk to the 'Trolley Portal of Doom' with my Tabby in my hands. I placed it gently on the edge of the trolley, asking the person-in-charge when I can get it back. He assured me latest by Monday, earliest by end of school today. I nodded as a sign of thanks, then turned around and slowly made my way back to my seat. Others had to go trough the same fear, just that more intense. I prayed hard that my documents would be safe and that my Tabby wouldn't be re-formatted.

Then for History, Mr. Ang marched into the class and after being greeted, started to interigate the students whom he hasn't recieved the history essays from yet. And ironically, I was one of them. I explained to Sir that I handed my essay to Sanjev, and from there I didn't know where it went. Sir appeared as if he didn't fully believe me, but my class, led by Calvin, started to garuntee to him I'd always hand my work on time. The fact that my class could trust me was moving, but there was no time for that; Mr. Ang wanted his essay and he wanted it ASAP!

He then asked if I could e-mail him the draft of my essay from my computer, only leaving me to explain to him that half an hour ago, the IT Dep took my Tablet away. Maitaining his stare, he continued to ask me if I could re-do the entire essay. I quickly said yes, knowing that I've got a house computer at home, and so after telling me I have till 23.59, Sir finally permitted me to sit.

Maths was somewhat standard as we had to use origami to prove algebric fomulas. We had to do it in pairs, and Kirby contributed to do most of the folding. We ended up being carried away and in the end, finished both what we were suppose to do AND the homework. Yipee! After the teacher left, Kirby, Tim and JK started doing push-ups that they owed each other after a game of 'I Never'. I couldn't stand watching them steal the fun away, so I joined in! Somehow, I ended up doing other types of push-ups like push-ups with Tim sitting on me, Commando Push-Ups and One-hand Push-ups! It was fun, and it was nice to know that God gave me this blessing of strength. I know that one day, God will give me the opportunity to use my talents for His Glory.

For White Space, an extra piece of timetable that the school's trying to test out, we had a science quiz and boy was it HARD!!! That's it: I'm gonna revise for all my sciences in the days to come! AHHRRGGHH!!!

Then after the test, the class and Mr. Tay discussed about a class T-Shirt. The materials and layout are comfirmed, and the colours are red and yellow unless otherwise stated, but the design is still being decided. Calvin's in charge of that, so all we can do is just to give advice. After a short voting on all the details, we were dismissed earlier than the rest of the cohord by a couple of periods.

Using this advantage, a few of us made our way to the IT Dep Room to check if our Tablets were ready for collection, and good thing they were! While I came out of the room, Tim and JK came to collect their's. But Tim wanted me to help him take his Tablet Bag, so I left them with my tablet as I went off to his locker. What I didn't know was that unlike my lock, Tim's locer combination never required an extra revolution for the last number. So for the next 5-10 minutes, I kept struggling with his pad lock, SMSing Tim once in a while to comfirm that I was working on the right locker and using the right combination. Finally when I figured out where I went wrong, I looked about his locker in search of the bag. Found some CNY decorations in there, so I guess I'll be called in for another wave of Decoration Duty.

While walking back to the CyberAC with the bag in my hand, Tim apparently made his way to the class to see what took so long for me to open a simple locker. As we headed towards each other, I waved the bag at him, keeping my face as emotionless as possible. it just felt as if we were illeagal drug traders; Tim being the seller, me being the buyer.

Me: Here's the cash. (Here's your bag.)

Tim: Thanks. (Nice and counted.)

Me: So where's the cocane? (So where's my Tablet?)

Tim: Still with Mugsy. (Still with Junn Kit.)

Me: At the Dead End? (At the SAC?)

Tim: No. Still at the Source. (No. Still downstairs.)

This conversation was made without us looking at each other or with any of us stopping from walking. It felt so cool! Drug dealers...

Anyway, once I had my Tablet back, we splited up, and I made my way to the Underpass, where I quickly typed in my password to see if my information was still there. And true enough, it was! Halelujah! Praise the Lord! I then did a dance I think Michael might have done and left quickly for home, where I was almost late for tution.

After tution, I tried out my Cerems and this is how I look:

Dashing, huh?
