How to Sing a Pore...

Miggipedia Manuals: Nanyang Customs - Awkward Song Caroling

Chapter 1 - Signifigance
Awkward song caroling is a form of entertainment performed by fellow friends in class, ussually after an exam, most commonly the SA2/PSLE. The songs are ussually funny and should appeal to them as 'catchy'. It can just simply be inovative songs created purely by a student and has an original tune to it, or it can also be well-known songs with the lyrics edited to be made funny.

Chapter 2 - The Songs
There are many songs which have been learnt from level to level, passed down to juniors and lasting for semesters. Some songs may have even been imported from other schools, such as Henry Park and the ACS family. So many of these songs are still being remembered in the school grounds. Here are just a few;

Jingle Bells of Death (sung in the tune of 'Jingle Bells')
Dashing through the snow
In a pair of broken skis.
Down the hills we go
Crashing into trees!

The snow is turning red.
I think I'm almost dead!
Send me to the hospital
Before I loose my head!

(Chorus)
Jingle bells! Jingle bells!
Santa Clause is dead!
Mighty Beans and Pow'r Rangers
Shot him in the head!

Barbie Doll! Barbie Doll!
Tried to save his life
But teddy bear from Mexico
Burried him alive!

(name) Farted (sung in the tune of 'In the Jungle')
Awimbawei (X8)

(name) farted!
The eathquake parted!
The whole world smelt so bad!

In half an hour
It had the power
To burn Mt. Fuji flat.

Ah-eiiiiiiiiiiiiiii, he, e, e, e awambawei! (X2 [optional])

(name) farted!
The Plague restarted!
Killing theose men who dare

To smell the odour
But turned 'to powder
'Cause acid filled the air!

Ah-eiiiiiiiiiiiiiii, he, e, e, e awambawei! (X2 [optional])

(name) farted!
The gas departed
And flew out into space.

It then caught fire
And Darth's Empire
Burned off without a trace!

Ah-eiiiiiiiiiiiiiii, he, e, e, e awambawei! (X2 [optional])

(name) farted!
But now subsided
So there will be no pain!

But wait, he/she's having
Another urging
So lets sing this song again!

Ah-eiiiiiiiiiiiiiii, he, e, e, e awambawei! (X4 [optional])

(Repeat song [optional])

Students of (class) (sung in the tune of 'National Day March')
Oh, we are the Students of (class)!
We are (class) Students!
We protect the Classroom of (class)
From invaiding men!

Oh, we are the Students of (class)!
We are (class) Students!
And we'll always fight together
As we march out hand in hand!

And as we, the Students of (class)!
We, the (class) Students!
We will help each other to try
To study for that pass!

And lead by the ('Class Rep'/'Chairman') of (class)
By the (class) ('Class Rep'/'Chairman')
We shall stive for victory
As the Patriots of Our Class!

Chapter 3 - Fading Tradition
Although concidered fun by many, awkward song caroling is slowly fading away from the Nanyang Society. Now it's a lot more common for people to be singing real songs instead of made-up or spoofed ones. It may be concidered singing, but it still isn't awkward singing. The awkwardness is the thing which gives the enjoyment and humour. So far, it's not fading away at noticable speeds, but you never know when one day, no one would know how to make fun of a song.

No one.

Additional Chapter I - Popularity in other regions
It was through this custome that I found out how different schools may be more advanced than other schools in other ways. And I have a personal experience to back that up.

Back as a Primary 4 student, I was the one who brought 'Jingle Bells of Doom' to Nanyang. And when I thought the fellow classmates the lyrics of the song, the song was a popular hit. Seriously. Back then, the only version known of the song was just the one involving Batman and Robin. But when I arrived into ACS(I) as a Freshman, the same song sung to an AC boy, as I've found out, is just as ordinary as singing the ABCs to a well-educated University student. The song itself just seemed so standard, and they had even more greater songs created from where they came from!

But when I once showed them a Rubber Band Pistol, which is easily a familiar sight to Nanyang and Henry Park people, they couldn't work out how to even use the thing properly, stating that they were still in the primitive ways of the Paper Pellet (Using one's hand arched into a 'C' and putting a rubber band in between to create a 'bow' to shoot paper pallets, which act like arrows).

So getting back to my theory, different schools have their own customes, so just because a school may be better than another school in one way, it can be vice versa in other issues.

We made history...

(Sarcastic accent)
Wow! We had such a great trip to Malaysia! I mean, there was a lot of team building activities! And there was cheering, too! Oh, don't forget the endless buffet of snacks that supplied us throughout our outing! Man, it was so fun and exciting, it felt as if it was only 4 hours!

(Serious accent)
Because it was 5 hours.

The trip was canceled because the route we were suppose to take had a few landslides, an overturned local bus and a bridge submerged underwater. They didn't want to take the risk. Oh, well. At least there really was team bonding. We all were united through this camp as a class in my opinion. Well, at least most of us.

So basically, our group made history as 'The First ACS(Independent) OEP Group to Cancel the Trip Because of Wild Weather' and 'The First ACS(Independent) OEP Group to go to Malaysia and Back to Singapore Without Stepping Off the Bus Within the Journey'!

Praise the Lord for that, I guess. But the teachers say that there will be a postponed date soon so I think that should be good enough to cover up for the hassles. Anyway, here are a few photos I took:

Shil taking a photo of me taking a photo of him taking a photo of me taking a photo...

Hey, who took a photo of me using my phone? Oh, right. JK.

Two rows, everybody!

Russian Roullet with Tim, just that instead of Guns, we used Cameras. You can see his point of the picture at his blog, 14th photo in a post named 'Helljumpers'. He missed half of me!

Justin being himself. It wasn't captured in the photo, but he was trying to joggle Apple Juice Cartons.

"Hard-case luggages go in first!!!"

"Welcome to Economy Class, Mr. Liau. Would you like a drink?"

The bridge that stands between us and Malaysia! While crossing, Michael was still singing '100 Bottles of Beer on the Wall'. It was hilarious for me, but annoying for Toj and Jaira.

C'mon, guys! Wave at the camera!

Ah. Finally in Malaysia!
The beautiful landscape. *sniff sniff*
Wait a minute. Flooding in the fields? Oh no...
Oh, a landslide site! Wait, that's not a good sign...
Mother Nature with her facial mask on... (If you can't see it, there's an overturned fuel truck behind the car at the background...) Oh, well. Gotta turn aroun...
"Tell them to stop the cheering! Please..."
Peter's chewing gun stuck on his finger tips. Creepy.
Back in Singapore again!
Well, if we couldn't go to Desaru today, might as well just hang out at King Albert Park for Lunch!...

The Desaru in you...

Each day, I seem to love school life more and more! Some of the teachers may be weird but hey, isn't that what makes them unique? And the fellow classmates you work with as you all try to work for those grades. They just make it all welcoming! And I praise the Lord for all this! He has truely blessed me with a fabulous school with fabulous teachers and fabulous classmates to work in a fabulous education system, with my fabulous family to be behind me at all times! What a fabulous Lord I have! May God have all the blessing and honour and glory and power! Amen!

But that sums up why I'm smiling as painfully large a smile in the inside as my Life Science Teacher does on the outside.

And tomorrow, the class is going to Desaru! That's just so awesome! What a more awesome God I have to bless me with these priveledges! And all I did a couple of years ago was just to believe that He'd bring me to this school. And now He blesses me even more! Oh well, this will be the last post till Thursday. See you soon and God bless!

"I WANT THE TOOTH!"...

Noting much to write of today.

Exept that now I've got one more thing to scream about (lets not talk about that, shall we...).

And that I saw a patriotic act today which lets just say represents the phrase 'The Leader must move with his people." very well.

And that I'm having the same teacher again for L Sci.

And that for Canoeing Trainning today, we had gym and we didn't end off with a warm-down so the moment I arrived back home, I quickly went into my room and did a relaxing warm-down so as to prevent myself from acheing tomorrow.

And that I'm having 2 milk tooth removed once and for all this week so my time of braces is near.

And that God was with me throughout my bad moments so I never felt alone, dissapointed or bad.

But besides that, I've got nothing to say.

3.45 IN THE MORNING?!!...

Sorry, *yawn*, slept at 8p.m. yesterday (Fine. Blame me for reading the Bible in bed while taking a break before continuing to finish my homework...).

Wanted to go back to sleep again but after having another 5 nightmares in a row (And you should know how gullable people are when they're asleep...), I mummbled, "Alright, alrigh God! I'm awake already! I'll finish up my homework now! Just give me a few more...zzzzzz...."

(6th Nightmare)

"ALRIGHT! I'M UP! I'M UP!"

Well, for one thing, at least waking this early does give me enough time to finish allthat I can and need to finish. Will post more when I get more energy in the afternoon...

Why try to defeat someone you've already defeated?...

That's what I've learnt today in Church. Let me explain...

In the times of the Old Testament, people, when out of their earthly forms, were suppose to be given a fair and strict punishment for all the sins they've commited. So it was like, 'Raped someone = 4 Hell Lashes', 'Murdered Best Friend = 6 Nails to be Hammered into the Right Hand', ect. (These aren't the real punishments; just to give a rough guide...)

Now to understand what happened on the cross let's use the all-time famouse verse of John 3:16 and 17. Following the New International Version, it says " For God so loved the world that He gave his one and only Son, that whoever that believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him."

So let's look at what happened again. Satan was having a good time tempting people to look away from God and sin, so that when the time of Judgement comes, he gets to torture them creations of God. God, watching this before his eyes, was deeply heart-broken and wanted to put a stop to this.

But he couldn't just swoop into Earth and beat the devil out of Satan. Why? 'Cause Adam and Eve decided to turn away from God and stopped trusting in him for that short momment of eating into the Forbiddeen Fruit just to want to be 'gods', thus commiting the first sin and making us unworthy to the sight of God (but of corse, although God couldn't stand the sinfulness, he still loved, is loving and will forever us very much.). This particular event gave Satan control over the world, and God didn't take it back from him as He was a God of Justice, and when man gave Satan the world, man gave satan the world. So everytime men sinned, they had to give offerings to God through the High Priest, who was suppose to be the non-sinful man most closest to God.

So back to God's sorrow, God wanted a way to take awy all the punishments of the world so that he could be with His children again. So what does he do? He sends his only Son, Jesus Christ, on earth. God told Abraham and many people after him about his plan, and Satan obviously heard it time after time, panicking because he doesn't know when this Messiah would come and defeat him. So when the time came, Jesus went through every replica of every temptation and bad situation anyone in the world had gone, is going and will go through. Approved to God that he was pure and knew how to handle every problem possibe by faith, God had to allow what he had to allow.

He had to make his Son a sacrifice to Himself.

It was dreadful for both the Father and the Son, but they both knew it had to be done. Through this way, Jesus was made the perfect sacrifice to God. But after being killed, Jesus had to go through one more thing. He had to be condemned to hell and suffer every punishment each man had to go through.

But if He was so good on earth, why did he end up going to hell? Well, it's because it was written in one of Moses' Laws that 'Cursed is a man who gets hung on a tree'. So when Jesus was cursed, he went to hell and was tortured by all the devils. And boy, did all of those brats torture Him to their heart's content. But when All the punishment was paid for already, God could already say, "Stop!".

The information in the above paragraph if found all over the Bible, and not directly in one verse.

When he found out what he's done, which was to spend all the torture he could possibly give to the Son of God so that he could no longer do it to anyone else, he knew he had no more control over anyone on earth anymore. And that's what makes him defeated! Every sin has been 'paid' for at Christ's expense, and that's what Grace means; God's Rightioussness At Christ's Expense.

So if you ever condemned that God hates you 'cause you've sinned so much, think again. He even allowed His Son's death to happen just so that you'd be forgiven and not have to go through the pains of Satan! Even Satan can't do anything to you but just tempt you into doing stuff which shows you have no trust that God can help you in life. And God's always there to lend a helping hand in ways which you may not understand instantly or in the way you wanted it to help, but by God's way and timing.

So will you believe?

Junior turns Senior...

Had to represent Canoeing for the afternoon shift for Year One Sports Selection Programme or something like that with Kenneth. Basically, it's a display of the school's Sports and Games CCAs to recruit those who have the potential. And boy, am I glad to be in the system! If it wasn't for these compulsury try-outs, I might never have taken a sport as a CCA in my life! And I so love Canoeing!

So after school, I hung out with some classmates for awhile before making my way to the Old Multi-Purpose Hall. As I entered into the hall, I looked around and the set-upm was just like last year, when I had to go through this as a Junior. Basketball at the BB Court, Hockey at the Rock Climbing Corner, Badminton, Rugby and Soccer in the centre of the hall and so on. The only thing changed was that Table Tennis was now outside the Sports Office instead of being in the Boarding House.

Joggging along the entrance, I went to Canoeing, which was still on the Stage like last year, and there Front and Center sat Mr. Ismail with a clipboard in his hand. On te stage was also a T and K boat, the K being held up by two Inclined Pull-Up bars. There were 4 excercise balls on the Right Stage and apparently, there was also an added desk and chairs on the stage and Mr. Ismail was resting along there. He signaled me to come, and so I came. He then briefed me through the proceedures and what surprises might come in along the way. Then he showed me the Canoeing Simulator.

This simulator simulates the water resistance you experience when you drag a paddle across the water and is used mostly in winter countries when winter has frozen all the lakes and reservors. This particular equipment was flown all the way from America and was borrrowed for this event from the Singapore Canoeing Federation, as I will learn later from Mr. See who came into the picture while I was giving the Simulator a little run. Paddling feels quite simular, just that even when you lift the paddle from the 'water', you still end up feeling the resistance and that the Footrest was Friction Clamped and not Notched, soit was sometimes easy to end up pushing the Footrest suddenly and see it slip off.

So here came the first batch of students! Mr. See gathered them around Left Stage and did a simple introduction. He first started of by addressing them as 'Gentlemen', believing that at our age, we should be gentlemen already and should respond to the term. Then he introduced himself ("... I'm Mr. See and I'm the teacher-in-charge of the Canoeing CCA. Now actually, I was also like you guys. Did you know which CCA I was in before I came into Canoeing? Come on, guess. Give up? I was in the Science Club. Can you believe that? Science Club...") and explained what Racing Canoeing was all about. He then showed the two boats that were on display and explained their differences and purposes.

For those who don't know; Ks are a whole lot more narrower, lighter and unstable than Ts and Ks have a rudder, while Ts don't. And Ts are more common in local (Generally Malaysia and Singapore) races and are more slow while Ks are well known in races all over the world and are very stead fast (IF used correctly...).

He then introduced Mr. Ismail ("... and he's in charge of the 'C' Division. Now, Mr. Ismail has been in this sport longer than I've been, so he has a lot more experience than me. Once apon a time, he was a body builder and now he's retired...") and me ("... And the boy in tang-top is Rumiguel. Now last year, he was sitting right over there [points to one of the boys]. Yah, he had to go through the same thing you all are going through now. But now we've trained him and he can now go 10, 15k on the water...") He then tells them that they will do the try-outs 4 at a time, while the rest who are waiting or have done can watch him as he demonstrates how to race in a canoe using the Simulator.

He ends off with a few final words of encouragement, saying, "Now gentlemen, I expect you to try your best on whatever Mr. Ismail tells you to do. You never know when you end up finding a new potential. In fact, I want you to try your best in all the stations, alright? Okay, now can four people go over to Mr. Ismail, the rest stay and watch..."

Here comes the part where I get to play around with their balances! (He he he! =P) All they have to do are just three simple activities. (Simple for a Canoer, that is...)

1) First, the person is suppose to sit on an excersize ball. He then folds his arms and sticks one leg out. Child's play? Okay. What they don't know is that Mr. Ismail will unexpectedly kick the excersize balls, causing them to wobble! I can still stay on, but could they? Not many...

2) Kneel on the ball and stay there for as long as you can. Now this is really tricky, I've got to admit! Even some of us tend to fall of sometimes. But let's see how the Juniors are doing...

3) Lie on the ball faced down, crawl outwards till the ball reaches the ankles, and do 5 push-ups. It may look extremely when demonstrated by Canoers, but trust me, a whole lot of people slipped and rolled off the ball before even completing their 5.

Well, by the 1th batch, I had a hang on the Simulator. By the 2nd batch, some of the demonstrators from Badminton decided to come over and try a few stuff. It was then when Mr. See overheard us talking about how shocking it is to have Kirby in the team and so he joined in and asked us to 'entrill' him with tales of this 'guy that's very well-known to the IP Section'. By the 3rd batch, Kenneth came just in time to help me for the last few of the batch. By the 5th batch, Junn Kit gave a surprise visit and volunteered to help us out. AND by the 7th batch, the last batch of them all (Thank God...), we were exhausted.

Making a staggering walk to the bus stop with a route made by Junn Kit (He made the route for a purpose...), I finally had a cooling ride back to Home Quarters. Ah, well. Appreciate every day given to you, 'cause it'll always stand out from the others... God bless... G'd ni.....zzzzzzzzzzzz......

The Ten in Black...

I've learnt many customs in Nanyang. Many traditions, many crafts, many types of litrature. Traditions as in Health Booklet Comparing, crafts such as Rubber Band Gun Designing and litrature such as Comic Book Composing and Awkward Song Caroling. But now that I'm in the ACS family, I guess their customs may sooner or later have to over-run mine, and I may forget my own customs in the process. So now I've decided that whenever I remember old customs of mine, I'll quickly type them down here so as to save them before they get trampled over.

Today, I remembered about Teacher Scouting.

Miggipedia Manuals: Nanyang Customs - Teacher Scouting

Chapter 1 - What it takes to be a Teacher Scout
Now Teacher Scouting is necesary for the protection of those in the class who are busy setling with matters not related to the next lesson (Homework from other teachers, chatting, ect.), concidering that the last teacher is gone. It is also useful for classrooms located in corners such that you can only see teachers as far as 2 classrooms if you stay indoors. Every Teacher Scout must be bold, swift, eligant and quiet when on duty at the exterior of the classroom, yet ready to respond to any situation and report it to the Light Siren with clear instructions as quickly as possible. This duty takes great wits as, depending on the positioning of the classroom, a Post Station coiuld be as far as 4 classrooms from HQ.

Chapter 2 - Safety First
Whenever you plan to scout the area, you must always be certain that the terrain is not supervised by any Major Staff Members. If you're caught, the whole class could suffer for that one mistake. So to ensure that everythings clear, everything should follow a strict proceedure, even standing at the front door itself.

To exit to the Exterior Boundaries;

Method A
No. of men involved: 1+Exiting Scouts
1) Both men must lie on either side of the door, leaning against the wall.
2) The man opposite the door handle opens the door to maximum.
3) Both men slowly walk out the door, facing each other so as to ensure that both directions of the aisle is being observed.
4a) If grounds are clear, men who want to Scout exit.
4b) If grounds are supervised, quickly go back into class.

Method B
No. of men involved: 1+Exiting Scouts
1) Plain Man goes to lockers and pretends to get something, but is actually Checking for clearance.
2) Plain Man then reports status when returned into class.
2a) If grounds are clear, men who want to Scout exit.
2b) If grounds are supervised, stay in class.

There are a lot more procedures to fllow after getting out ou the class, but just to keep it simple, 'Stay low on the ground, move fast and look at all directions at all times!'.

Chapter 3 - Signals
To help simplify matters, codes and signals have been invented to inform status of terrain around a classroom and how the class should respond. Just like the watch towers of the Great Wall of China, Teacher Scouts are positioned at particular intervals so that if one person spots a teacher, he could signal his or her arrival(s) to the other Scouts and to the Light Siren(s) as fast as possible. If done in expected coordination, the present location, entry point, direction, speed, mood and Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) of an arriving teacher should reach the Classroom in less than 2.5 seconds.

Codes
The order of reporting the arrival of a teacher is as so: Name of teacher. Entry Point. Radius Presence or Location. Direction. Speed. ETA. Mood.

For entry point, you either say Port or Starboard taking that one is looking out the Main Door. If you don't know, the two words are suppose to be used on ships for direction keeping, Port meaning 'steer Left' and Starboard meaning 'steer Right'.

In general, Radius Presence is a rugh guide of distance from the teacher to the door. This radius is measured in Classrooms and readings are estimated in multiples of 0.5. But if you aren't certain that the teacher is going to your classroom, you can also include the discribtion of the location of the teacher (e.g. At the Lift, At the Wavey Staircase, At Class 5H, ect.)

For direction, the normal Air Force method of describing it is used. For those who don't know what that method is, it's the 'o'clock' Method. Basically, you declare the position of a target like how you would read the number a minute or hour hand points on a number on the clock. (e.g. If the target is straight in front of you, you say that the target's at '12 o'clock'. If it's straight on your right, it's at '3 o'clock'. And so on...)

Speed can be told in LoPS, basically meaning Lockers Per Second. This is especially used when the teacher was spoted along a background of school lockers. The Scout would watch how many lockers the teacher would pass in a second, which also gives the Scout enough time to comfirm other details like location, direction and mood. ETA is made once speed is comfirmed. The average teacher has a speed of 7 LoPS. Ussually to speed things up, certain ranges of LoPS are given a name;

2> LoPS = Dead Slow
3-5 LoPS = Slow
6-8 LoPS = Coming
9< LoPS = Coming Fast

Mood is basically just to state how the teacher appears to be feeling. This is an optional statement to make and is just to prepare the class if they could slacken down a little or brace themselves for a storm of scoldings.

Signals
Signals follow the same format of reporting as codes, but can only spread Name of Teacher, Entry Point, Direction, Speed and Mood.

Entry point is easy to signal as all you need to watch for is the first Scout who starts running back to class.

Point towards the Direction.

Show number of fingers to show number of LoPS.

Mood is quite easy too. If the teacher's relaxed, the Scout would appear happy; if the teacher's angry, the Scout would look panicked.

The rest is basically lip-reading.

Chapter 4 - Informing the Class
When the Scouts return back to the classroom, they have to quickly warn the class of the arrival of the teacher. This is ussually easy when the class isn't doing something that he/she thinks is important (e.g. homework, mini-games, ect.), but this isn't always the case. Instead, the Scouts can even be ignored and if so, the class may not be prepared for the teacher. So to attract the class quickly, the Scouts use something that will definitely grab attention but won't make any noise to aleart anyone outside the classroom - the Classroom Lights.

There will be a person stationed at the Switches. This job is known as the Light Siren. The Light Siren basically stays at his post, prepared to hear the comand, which is basically to hear the Scouts rushing back to class. When the Siren hears this, he quickly switches off all the lights, making the classroom surprisingly dark. This, by right, should attract the attention of all the students, giving enough of it to the Scouts so that they could spread the message around that there's a teacher within radius.

There are Shadows in MacRitchie...

Found out that Kirby's joinning Canoeing! Finally, we've got some 'New Blood' in the team after quite some time! ('New Blood' was what we called the people who came into the team around the Second Semester of Last Year)

So at trainning, I was able to se only the first part of his introduction to Canoeing before I paddled off to attempt my trainning plan. Seemed quite 'peaceful' at a glance. (For those who don't know Kirby, 'peaceful' and 'Kirby' don't really go together and is suppose to be concidered Bad English.)

Doing my sets, I realised I've lost a lot of my Canoeist Skills and Strenght in the week of break. That means I'm now gonna make it apoint to go to the gym to work it all back! But I'm not gonna sob too much about it. I've got confidence in the Lord that everything's gonna fall back in place together. Let's move on...

After my sets were done, we headed back to shore and packed up. And as easy as a Canoeist could tell, it was about to rain, so we had to pack up quickly! And packing the stuff under the rain is a lot more harder that with dry weather. You can trust me on that. Watching Kiby work under the rain was quite facinating, to tell you the truth. After hearing the tales of how violent his nature could be, this was an interesting sight to see. A very interesting sight to see.

After being dismissed, I helped guide him back home as his stop was just along the way. So today, I've learnt that people really can change and addapt. Never stick permanantly to first impressions. You just never know...

Miguelsitokalachoomchoom...

For those who don't know me at all, I've got a really complex name for a Singaporean. And it rocks! Here's couple of reasons why...

1) Mispronounciation.
Every year, whenever I get a new batch of teachers to learn under, they always want to 'level down' and 'mingle' with the students for the first lesson. And I watch them as they read out the class register list with ease, with the name's owner raising his or her hand or standing up to response. Then suddenly, the teacher stops. She stares at the list for 5 seconds or so, giving that face which people ussually give out when they're caught in a sticky situation. And boy, is that teacher in one. She then tries to read out the name, the eyes still fixed onto the list. Stammering at certain moments, she says in a soft voice, "Ra... Ra... Rai... Raimee... mee... meegwell?" I respond acordingly, smiling on the outside and rolling about laughing in the inside. I then answer a few questions which the teacher may have on me, most common being, "Did I pronounce it correctly?", "Are you local?" and "Are you Spanish/Filippino by any chance?" The best part is, IT HAPPENS ALL THE TIME!!! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!

2) The Nicknames.
As I always say, "With every long and complex name comes a longer and more complex list of nicknames." For my case, I've definitely got a lot of nicknames. Miggy is the original one, and anyone who knows me for quite some time can call me that. The story behind this nickname is that after receiving many complaints from others, even the doctor who was giving me, as a month-old baby or so, regular check-ups, my Mom decided to simplify the matter. Basically, she just simplified my name from Raemiguel to Miguel to Miggy. The title of this post is Officially the Longest Nickname given to me that is used at a regular basis (Used by Filippino relatives.). Here's a list of all the OFFICIAL nicknames I've got so far. The list may expand in due time;
