Found out that Kirby's joinning Canoeing! Finally, we've got some 'New Blood' in the team after quite some time! ('New Blood' was what we called the people who came into the team around the Second Semester of Last Year)
So at trainning, I was able to se only the first part of his introduction to Canoeing before I paddled off to attempt my trainning plan. Seemed quite 'peaceful' at a glance. (For those who don't know Kirby, 'peaceful' and 'Kirby' don't really go together and is suppose to be concidered Bad English.)
Doing my sets, I realised I've lost a lot of my Canoeist Skills and Strenght in the week of break. That means I'm now gonna make it apoint to go to the gym to work it all back! But I'm not gonna sob too much about it. I've got confidence in the Lord that everything's gonna fall back in place together. Let's move on...
After my sets were done, we headed back to shore and packed up. And as easy as a Canoeist could tell, it was about to rain, so we had to pack up quickly! And packing the stuff under the rain is a lot more harder that with dry weather. You can trust me on that. Watching Kiby work under the rain was quite facinating, to tell you the truth. After hearing the tales of how violent his nature could be, this was an interesting sight to see. A very interesting sight to see.
After being dismissed, I helped guide him back home as his stop was just along the way. So today, I've learnt that people really can change and addapt. Never stick permanantly to first impressions. You just never know...
