April Fool's...

Turns out I couldn't go to Church today. My Dad wanted me to help my Paternal side of the family in moving my Aunt's house. The Lord said in the Bible that honouring my father, the man of the family, is an act of honouring my Father, so I obeyed and went with him, leaving my Mom and Uncle Alex to go to Church. We helped to move a car's worth of items to the new house (Which was a lot, concidering the number of nick-nacks and little decoration items,) before making our way back home to collect my X-Ray for the dental appointment today.

Probably haven't posted about it, but I was informed recently that I was to have a visit to the dentist today for advise on my teeth and what braces treatment I'd be recieving. So when it was my turn in the queue, the doctor - who, frankly speaking, sounded like Mr. Kevin Ng with a small touch of Mr. Peter Tan - stared at the X-Ray I took a few days ago and started pointing out that my upper jaw was going to be a chalendge for him. He then said I'b be having a 1-year treatment which the involved events I'll keep secret for now as I want to keep my bracing momment a surprize. ('Brace' yourselves...) (Hee hee...)

Then during lunch, let's just say something happened which I soon resolved when we got back home. But on the parellel, I just want to ask a simple question to anyone free to answer:

Am I too friendly?

Has my great love for my friends gone a little too far? Maybe even to the expence of being wasted? Have I given some kind of foothold that people have already taken advantage of? I pray that the answer's 'No.', but at the same time I'm just qurious if anything's not what it seems. But then again, I still have my faith in God. And as such, I have trust in the life He's laying out for my future. And that'll involve my friendships. So I guess it's better to forget the question altogether: I'll just continue riding God's roller coaster and know that I won't fall off, even if I'm falling for the next 75 ft at 60 km/hr. I know very well there's a stop somewhere at the bottom, maybe a flat path going at a proper angle, and I'll pray God's there with me while I'm still riding. Yup, I'm still riding.

Wait a minute. This is starting to get a little too emo. Emmanuel, then.

Watched League of Extrodinary Gentlemen on Channel 5 later in the evening. Rather interesting seeing it for the second time. A pity rather that if I compare this to the class, no one can fill in for Captain Nemo. (The other characters are real easy.)

Then after the show, I went to my computer to update this post when Tim asked me to see his blog for his post for today. You can check the content if you want, but I later had a Christian chat with him (and at many points Him). Without the concent, I guess I'll just leave the conversation private. But like I said, Emmanuel.

'God is with us.'
