All for Daddy...

A fight with boredom.
Had to attend a police talk.
Now requires reflections.

All for Daddy.

Quickly went down.
Bought a quick lunch.
Boarded the bus.

All for Daddy.

Found no partner.
Had to paddle in solitude.
Eternal pain in my guts.

All for Daddy.

Ran to the back alley.
Changed into something comfortable.
Still clutching on my abdomen.

All for Daddy.

Wanted to take the taxi.
Ended up with the bus.
Two buses, in fact.

All for Daddy.

Dropped off at the wrong stop.
Had to walk the extra mile.
Ran out on my water.

All for Daddy.

Went into the Plaza.
Searched high and low.
Found it there at last.

All for Daddy.

Asked to have it with five large candles.
Ended up with four.
Recieved the change with shakey hands.

All for Daddy.

Found no cash in my card.
Had to walk back home.
The painful walk.

All for Daddy.

After half an hour.
Made it to the back gate.
Praised the Lord with final steps.

All for Daddy.

Despite the many things that I had to go through today, I kept my promise in buying a gift for Dad, even through the pains and sweat of the journey. And after it all, it just feels worth it. The least I could do for what he's done for me as a father.

All for Daddy.
