Today, I return to MacRitchie for Water Training! Yay! One of the best ways to start your first day back in Singapore! The only spoiler was that I'm still paddling with Jedd. He's a nice guy, and really determined to get the first, but his ways to the boat are really uncomfortable. I swear I was literally paddling the whole training without my right butt cheek touching the boat - it's THAT tilted! The inbalance of the boat, especially on poor StingRay, forces me to do what the coaches call sweep strokes - a stroke advised ONLY for T Canoe turnings - and thus I can't paddle properly with racing strokes - the strokes I'm SUPPOSE to use. Now I know how Nick Ng felt when he had to partner me. I shaln't compare anybody for this cause, but I'm just... Urgh!
But at the same time, I heard that Mr. Goh has plans for switching my partner, obviously with someone better. I'll pray about it.
After training, I recieved a SMS from my Mom, saying that she needed help in her tution centre, so I went to River Valley to answer her call of distress. Tried to help her out in some mathermatical questions, then suddenly fell asleep. Mysteriously. Even I concider it mysterious. Must had been a tough training, I guess. So my Mom limitted my ration of the assistance, later treating me for lunch with Dad at Subway. This is actually thefirst time I ate Subway food, and I must say I LOVE IT! The choices of meats, vegetables, sauces and dressings are just superb, and yet healthy. And some meals come along with a discounted drink and cookie! I recomend this place to people who haven't tasted their sandwitches, especially those who seek for a healthier diet!
Subway: Eat Fresh!
