NCC (Land) men came back from their camp. Finally.
Anyway, I just want to fastforward to the part where Ihad to go for the x-ray today. A dental one, around my jaw. Just to give my dentist a better picture of my mouth and help her give advice on what steps to take to fix the crookedness. And one too many dentists have already told me about braces. I've heard of the stories of people who suffer the pains of them thingys, but if I have no choice I might as well be optimistic about it. Wonder how I'd sound like with braces on. Mr. Tay? Probably.
After school, I rushed to the bus-stop on the opposite side of the road, then hailed a cab to my Dad's office, where I met my Dad and Aunt Alice. Daddy then brought me to Subway for lunch before driving me to the x-ray centre nearby. When it was my turn, a Filippino doctor (I should know: I'm half Filippino) called for me and lead me into a white room with a contraption at one wall. He then told me to bite onto this protrudding white plastic stick at the level of my mouth, until my teeth aline with the dent on the stick. I did so,and once alined, the doctor quickly started to screw clamps onto my head like a carpenter, just more complex. I felt like a science experiment and bit hard onto the plastic to prevent myself from laughing.
After the seventeenth clamp, the man told me to keep still, then walked out of the room and closed the door behind him. In a matter of seconds, the contraption soon came to life, and a black plate, which I assumed contained the film, started to revolve around my head in a slow pace almost as slow as a turtle. Once the revolution was complete, the door swung back open and the Fillipino man, accompanied by a very short Chinese lady, marched in to unscrew me to freedom. The lady then told me to leave the room and wait at the lobby. After the next patient was taken photo of, my film was complete and I had a chance to see my mouth. Here's how it looks like:
Not that clear, but this x-ray's not much different to the one I took last year. Just that a few milk teeth are missing. Well, let's just see what God allows to happens to my teeth...
