Sing His Praises...

PRAISE THE LORD!!!

Today was a MIRACLE so far. For three reasons.

Reason 1
Remember when Mr. See was, according to many of the Canoeists, 'pissed' at me for missing Thursday's training because of Prefect Camp when he actually personally called Mr. Bongard to excuse for the duration of time? Well, I come totraining at the same ussual time. 6.50 in the morning, making my way to the Pull-Up Bars next to the Main Shed. And there sat Mr. See, on a bench facing towards MacRitchie Reservour. I was prepared for the worst scolding in my canoeing life, but even after doing 6-7 sets of chin-ups, he never came for the kill. I assumed he was going to hold the suspense for later, so I continued to hold my guard high.

When we were told to jog back to the sheds to get the boats out, I made my way out. Then Mr. See suddenly called out formy name. I quickly halted and turned around, ready to get shouted at with vougarities a Miggy shouldn't be saying. But instead, he says, "Raemigale, tell the Sec 1s to get out all the old Ts." (For those who don't know, he said, "Raemiguel, tell the Year 1s to get out from the Lower Shed all the old T Canoes [Medusa, Tortise, Tiger Black, ect.])

Surprised, but still relieved, I nodded and ran along to the shed to carry outthe order. And true enough, Mr. See never said a word about my inattendance throughout the whole day! That's a miracle! Those who make Mr. See pissed ussually never get away with it, but somehow God gave me favour! Praise Him my Heavenly Dad!

Reason 2
After getting my lifejack and paddle, I went up to Upper Shed to collect StingRay with Jedd. Oh no, I told myself. Another training with your right butt cheek suspended over the seat. We brought the boat to the Slope next to the Concrete, then went to search for Mr. Goh for our training programme for today. But surprisingly, Mr. Goh stammered when he saw that we were together again, and quickly asked for Jedd to switch places with Hao Qing. For those who don't know also, Hao Qing is suppose to be a T1 Rower, and Jedd a K2. Them switching plaes would be 'shocking in it's ways: For HQ, its an honourable promotion to rise from a T to a K so suddenly, for Jedd, being tossed back down to a T is rather 'disgraceful', unless he's able to do more in a T than in a K.

So the switch was done, and I rowed 10Km pacing with HQ and only capsizing once! Being new to a K and capsizing once, especially in the StngRay, is VERY valuable! And doing more powerful starts during Sprints was so good, it even impressed Mr. See himself! He supported Mr. Goh's motive of the switch, and I supported it too!

Reason 3
My maid found my badge! It was actually where it was suppose to be: on my desk's whiteboard railing. But the situation was that it was upside-down, and since the shiny back of the badge blended in with the railing, I couldn't see it while I was rushing on my uniform! Praise the Lord for Auntie Lala!

The many miracles that can happen when you trust that the Lord has it all under control! (I'm serious about the miracles part. Today was truely blessed so far!)

I'm posting this now as I'm not sure if I'd have enough time to post about tonight's Christian concert with Ben, his Church friends and Tim. God bless one and all!
