Cannas...

Forgot to post yesterday (Darn, one post delay...) But I must tell you, God really calmed me down yesterday.

Mother Tongue was fine, I guess. And so was Lang Arts B. But during E Science, the anger returned, and I couldn't concentrate on the lesson. Everytime I tried to focus on the subject, the issue of Thursday night would flood inside my head again and I'd feel my greatest anger in 5 years. And it was painful. I was praying deep in the insides to God for something, ANYTHING, that can help 'scare away my anger'. And God did just that.

In the middle of the lesson, Mdm was getting angry over people who haven't closed their Tablets, but Tim was trying to type the comments of the lesson out into his computer since he didn't have the notes given out on Tuesday. So when Mdm asked Tim to close his Tablet, Tim burst in the same tone I was afraid of hearing in a class. He appologised later to Mdm, and Mdm also forgave him, but I was left in a daze for the next few minutes. Daze meaning that my anger was literally 'scared away'. I even had a little voice in my head asaying, "You held all that back last night. Be thankful." And I was. I was really schocked out of my fury, and for the rest of the lesson, I could concentrate and understand what Mdm was talking about, even as far as getting involved in a little chat with a few fellow classmates and Mdm herself.

Thanks, Tim! Thanks, Lord!

During Recess, I went to the co-op shop to buy tape so I can laminate my History File to hand it up later. Then I dropped by at the SAC shops for a quick muffin, while meeting Junn Kit and Tim along the way. By now, my insides have calmed down from the shock, so I didn't avoid anyone. We had a chat, then once done eating, we ran back up to class. I got there first, and once there I immediately ran to my table to quickly laminate my file. I took out my plastic rapping, the tape I bought and my front cover page, only to realize I forgot to create a back cover page.

So I quickly paid a visit to the photocopying shop near-by to get a piece of plain paper. Somehow, the guy was in a good mood, and gave the piece of paper for free. Aftrer thanking him, I quickly ran back to class, holding the paper in my arms like a rugby ball and making sure nothing, I said NOTHING, spoils the paper. Back in the class, I whipped out my pencil and drew out the picture of an hourglass with the dropping sand in the shape of a stretched-out hand. Then I did a short 'Cooking Show' in a gay-high Spanish accent at the front of the class, showing to an unknown audience how to laminate a History File with an assistant beside me (Shil). Once done, I was satisfied and went back to my desk to rest after leaving my file with the other files. Phew.

Next was Lang Arts A, where we had to do a rushed role-play for Act 3. I was chosen to be Dememtrius, a part whch I knew how to make funny for this particular this Act, Scene 2 in particular. To cut a long play short, we didn't have enough time to reach the funny part unfortunately. But nevermind - I shall reserve this particular action for another role-play. Await the Miguel...

Then there was L Sci, and all I can say is that L Sci lessons are starting to get more and more interesting. That sentence is just a few more evidental lessons from deserving to end with an Exclaimation Mark. (!)

To end off yesterday, the class stayed back for a few minutes for one of the best 'detentions' any student could recieve! The CIP: To distribute the OEP Prize to the whole class and finish it up! It was so fun, and everyone had his share of the food - Maybe not his fill, but nevertheless his share. Kirby galored over the cheese, Ben over the dried mango, Tim, Joel and Peter over one small can of sparkling grape juice and Sir over the glass bottle of wine-related grape juice. After the (mini-) feast, we were dismissed. And that was, like, 10 minutes or less. That could probably be one of those cases my classmates would refer to as a Pwnage. Notice the purposed irony in the 'P' of Pwnage. Interesting word. Taught to me by an interesting class.

Anyway, back to today, started the day with Water Training at MacRitchie, of which Hao Qing and I were (temporarily) banished to the New Tiger so as to be able to give the StingRay to competior seniors that have a race next Saturday. New Tiger was a whole lot more stable than StingRay, but the seat was just pure painfulness. The bottom of my pelvis bone was aching for another few minutes once I got out of the boat. Sheesh. Those seniors better clock good timing for the sacrifice of my butt.

Then I went back home to wash up and eat lunch, did a bit of work and made my way to Lido Theatre at Orchard Road to purchase four tickets to 'Mr. Bean's Holiday' for my family and I. Yes, tonight we were gonna watch the (second) man with the freakishly-large smile and large way of pace. Then went to my Mom's office to help my parents move a few items around the centre. Once dne, we drove to my Dad's office to park the car, then ate at a food centre downstairs before proceeding to a 7-Eleven to buy some movie snacks before running to Lido to catch the movie. And I must exclaim, the movie was WORTH IT!!! It was hilarious, and although some parts at the begining may be a little irritating, the ending was beautiful and answers the climax very well! I wouldn't mind buying the CD of this show to watch again. It's so good, I refuse to comment on what happened in the show, so as to urge anyone who reads this to go watch!

After the movie, the family went to buy supper at MacDonalds while I went to the basement to do my ussual routine f Poster Observing. You never know what poster you'd find there until you see it. And I found the one about Piratesz of the Carribean: At World's End. But there are some details that I could see I know many other people wouldn't notice. For instance, at the bottom of the poster where the credits are, there's Chow Yunn Fat's name there. That's an extra clue to which country is involved in the movie. Another detail is the small symbol about a cm thick also at the bottom of the poster that states that there's a game version of Pirates of the Carribean 'in any major' retail outlet near you! I will await my turn to play that game...
