Today was rather slag. Couldn't go to Church today, so I ended up doing some Maths instead. And a little blog updating, too. But I also heard a CD of Pastor Prince's mesages: The one about the first third of his sermon at Hillsong, Australia. It was about boasting about God's love for me, instead of my love for God, and I found some points interesting, like:
God is refreshed when you take more blessings from Him. (In John 4, Jesus, after being tired out by His long journey to a town in Samaria called Sychar, was full again with 'food to eat that you no nothing about' after sharing with a Samaritan woman about Christ and worship.)
God knows nothing about 'too much blessings'. (e.g. He filled Simon Peter's boat with so much fish (on an unsucessful day) that their nets almost broke and the boats almost sank!)
The Laws (e.g. Thou shal't not...) demands man to give to God, Grace (a.k.a. God's Righteousness At Christ's Expense) requests man to recieve from God!
Martha and Mary (Luke 10:38-42) - Don't be troubled about so many things. Constant worry is bad. Just sit at His feet and recieve from Him! You'll be paid back anything you hink might have been lost (Mary was the only person early enough to anoint Jesus' corpse with herbs and oils after His death.)!
Seek HIM first the Kingdom of God, and HIS Righteousness. (NOT yours.)
