Today started with PE, where we did a lap on ther tracks, then did a few other NAPHA stations to see how we'd fair. I'd have full 'A's if it weren't for long jump. I'd have a 'B' for that. Also according to many classmates, my muscles were buldging out when I was doing the Inclined Pull-Ups. Even the coach gasped. But I can never tell if they elaborated a little too far, so I'll just take it that I'm a highly respected person in my class. Am I right or wrong to say that?
Anyway, for L Sci Prac I brought all my stuff! Yayz! And my towel for gym too! Double yayz! (Cheap-trills!...)
Next was History, where we continue the Colonialist Saga. By now, every piece of land on the map was owned by a country one way or another. All exept for Western United States. All the colonists ganged up to fight against the state and after turn after turn, Western US was won over... By me! France rules! That made Spain rather dissapointed, but he'll have his chance. Besides, the whole of Africa is already his! Plus Ural, East Europe and Central America, and with the largest number of armies (75 in total), I see no dissapointment in that. Anyway, I felt that Russia was having a little too much of Asia, and when Germany started to attack them, I decided to join along. Even with the risk of haing Spain, the powerful allie of Russia, attacking my 50 armies for this tatic, I was in despair for more Asia, and as such I used Siam (Indonesia in olden times, for those who don't know) as a base to start my movement to move up along the continent and try to reach China as safely as possible. But unfortunately, the lesson was over even before I could conqure a neighbouring country, and thus I wait for my time of victory...
Found out in ISO that my Oral Defence is on 27 March, so pray for me on that...
After Language Arts A, Mdm held me back in class for a few minutes. And not for a bad cause, but rather a friendly one. She told me that she was greatly amazed at both Michael's and my talents in drama and had given our names to the Drama CCA teachers-in-charge. SHe said she told them all about us and that she would appreciate it if we had a chat with them to see if we made the cut for it.
OF ALL THE TIMES THAT GOD CHOOSES TO ANSWER PRAYERS!!! A COMPLETE YEAR!!! AND ONLY WHEN I DON'T NEED THE PRAYER ANYMORE!!! (Sigh.) You see, back in my first month or so in Canoeing, I saw the very rough and depressing side of Canoeing. My partner and I never got along well on water, and I was always scolded by him. In fact, he'd scold so loud that even other schools on the water know about 'the cruel partner'. My name was already sent to the Canoeing Federation for the upcoming Nationals, and I couldn't opt out until the competition was over, so I had to endure the 'sadness' of MacRitchie. I prayed to the Lord that once I can get my freedom, He's got a shot amount of time to prove to me that I should stay in the team or I'd quit and join Drama instead. And lo and behold after the competition, Canoeing looked a whole lot more colourful and different! And I love every minute, every strain, every stroke, every pain of Canoeing!!!
And NOW God gives me the opportunity to go to Drama!!! Sheesh. I shaln't complain, Lord. Your ways are far from my ways, so I trust you. I told Mdm that I was already heavily dedicated to the Canoeing team and that this would greatly clash into Drama, thus I can't be dedicated to Drama completely. But she still pleaded for me to look into the matter, and so I agreed that I'd do what I can. She left me with the last words, "I'd really love to see you on stage, Raemiguel. I really do." Ah, well. Now to rush all the way to Land Training...
